Asylum Aid have made a short film to support their campaign to end the Protection Gap for women seeking asylum.

Entitled “From Us to You” it is a 3 minute film aimed at women asylum seekers before their asylum interviews.  It was made by Asylum Aid’s Protection Gap Advocates, who will be adding voice-overs so that women can hear the film in their own languages. The film features a group of women activists who have all been through the asylum process  themselves and their Refugee Journalism Project.  In the film they provide the  information they wish they had known before their own asylum interviews. The film is being circulated to lawyers and NGOs who meet women when they first apply for asylum.   Asylum Aid have ave also asked the Home Office to show it.
