Yesterday celebrities, people with lived experience of seeking sanctuary and Together With Refugees coalition members all boarded a boat and took a message to a place where MPs couldn’t ignore them: right outside Parliament.

Adorned with a huge banner reading: vote to protect not punish refugees, this stunt was all about swaying MPs who were again voting on the Nationality and Borders bill that same afternoon.
