Research opportunity for those volunteering within befriending and/or mentoring roles

Do you have fifteen minutes to spare? A new UK-based study has opened looking at the impact of volunteering within befriending and/or mentoring roles supporting refugees, asylum seekers and forced migrants.

If you are:

  1. Volunteering in a befriending or mentoring capacity or role.
  2. Volunteering for a UK based organisation or charity that mostly works with refugees, asylum seekers or forced migrants.
  3. Have been volunteering for a minimum of six months.
  4. Have worked with refugees, asylum seekers or forced migrants in the last month.
  5. Are aged 18 or over.

We want to hear from you!

What does taking part involve?

We are hoping to collect data from a large number of volunteers. We have made an online survey to collect this data. This survey should take about fifteen minutes to fill out. For more information and to fill out the survey follow this link: https://uea.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/the-impact-of-voluntary-work
