NACCOM to go to Greenbelt – opportunity to raise awareness about sanctuary issues such as destitution

If you are attending Greenbelt Festival this year look out for the NACCOM Network in the Greenbelt Takeaway (Marketplace) area. The team will be speaking to festival goers about destitution and raising awareness of the great work that goes on across the UK, including amongst several City of Sanctuary groups, to prevent homelessness amongst those seeking sanctuary. If you want to make contact with the team over the weekend, their number (Lucy) is 07795967396. They will also be organising several pop-up talks over the weekend on community responses to destitution, with a focus on hosting, so if this is something you are particularly interested in, look out for details about this on their Twitter page, or get in touch via text.
