Many groups across the UK are involved in fundraising for sponsorship and / or activities with resettled refugees.


Walkers hike in the Malvern Hills above the town of Malvern, in County Worcestershire, UK. The town is famous for its holy well and spring, and the purity of the water here made it a popular destination over the centuries.
The Malvern Welcomes group was set up in October 2014 to help persuade the local council to accept some Syrian refugee families under the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Relocation scheme. After a long campaign the group are hoping for a positive outcome as the government prepares to announce the resettlement locations of 200 Syrian refugees in the county of Worcestershire. ; In the small town of Malvern a group of locals want to take in Syrian refugees as part of the UK's relocation scheme.
