Refugee Festival Scotland 2025 will be a special anniversary year, marking 25 years of the festival. The theme for this year is MILESTONES!

The festival runs from 13 to 22 June 2025 and there are so many ways to get involved in the fun…

1. Would you like to hold an event as part of this year’s festival programme? Registration is now open!

2. Scottish Refugee Council are recruiting for a Programming Fellow to join the team for 6 months and develop a strand of the 2025 Festival. Deadline for applications is Wednesday 12th February 2025, noon. Read more here.

3. Volunteers sought with lived experience of the refugee and asylum system to join our Small Grants panel. The deadline to apply is 7th February, noon.

4. Community groups and organisations that are led by refugees or focused on assisting refugee communities can apply for Small Grants funding of up to £750 to help cover the cost of running a festival event. The deadline to apply is 25th February, noon.

5. And artists from refugee backgrounds can apply for Arts Open, an exciting opportunity for three artists from refugee backgrounds to present their work as part of this year’s festival. The deadline to apply is also 25th February, noon.
