Our City of Sanctuary fundraiser is now live! This is a really special one because from Tuesday 28th November until 5th December only, every pound you give will be doubled by a match-fund.

So for this week only, £1 = £2!

I’m a Sanctuary Ambassador, that means I work with City of Sanctuary UK to build welcoming communities. Since becoming an Ambassador in 2018, I have had the privilege and the honour to contribute to, learn from, and help guide this organisation.

When I arrived here, I did not have any knowledge of the UK political system or how to advocate to get my voice heard. But all that changed when I completed their Sanctuary in Politics Course – I never again felt voiceless and have been speaking up for myself, my peers and my community ever since.

For me, City of Sanctuary is a symbol of hope, empowerment, compassion, welcome, friendship and a vision of a better tomorrow. Donate today and help us do even more in 2024!
