After many years sitting on our trustee board, Amani Yahya is now stepping down – and we will miss her! All of us on the team at City of Sanctuary UK want to say a huge thank you for her invaluable contributions, commitment and passion.
As our trustee’s Chair, Amani’s expertise and lived experience has helped guide, develop and implement our new charter and strategy. She was also a key member of the experts by experience operational advisory group, supporting us with operational decisions and direction.
Throughout her time as a trustee, Amani has shared her own experiences and raised the voices of others.
