A year ago the UK government evacuated Afghans fleeing the Taliban. They launched Operation ‘Warm Welcome’, promising to support Afghans to rebuild their lives here in the UK.

But a year on and Afghan evacuees remain separated from their families.

Family separation destroys lives. The trauma can have lasting effects.

A real warm welcome includes taking action to reunite refugees with their families.

The government must act urgently to bring Afghan families together.
