What a triumph!
Hundreds of you got involved with the #TogetherWithRefugees action and sent Valentines Day cards to your MPs calling on them to support some amendments to the Anti-Refugee Bill.
Many more of you filled your streets, classrooms, windows and social media timelines with orange hearts showing your solidarity with refugees.
From Swansea to Swindon, Hay to Hull – the response was bigger and better than ever before.
A huge thank you and well done to everyone who got involved. You are the change!
It’s not too late to get involved. Tweet/email your MP calling on them to support the following amendments:
● The removal of Clause 11 which would permit the Home Office to treat people differently based on how they arrived here.
● The introduction of a new and safe route by setting an ambitious but deliverable target to resettle 10,000 of the world’s most vulnerable refugees a year.
The Bill is very close to becoming law, so we must keep fighting it until the very last moment.
