Refugee Week: 20-26th June
This Refugee Week, the theme to explore is ‘Healing’. Whether that’s healing from sickness or trauma, healing our shared planet, or healing divisions in society – through creativity and conversations, Refugee Week 2022 will be a celebration of community, mutual care, and the human ability to start again.
Refugee Week enables people from different backgrounds to connect beyond labels, as well as encouraging understanding of why people are displaced, and the challenges they face when seeking safety.
Anyone can get involved by holding or joining an event or activity: it’s never too early to start thinking about how you can get involved!
1) Start having conversations about Refugee Week. What could you do in your local community, your workplace, your school? Art, music, food, talks, film screening, picnics… the possibilities are endless.
2) Let us know your ideas and plans for Refugee Week, we may even be able to help you make them happen. Email [email protected]
3) Sign up the Refugee Week newsletter to keep updated on resources, information and events.
