Call out from One Strong Voice – new collective for people with lived experience of seeking sanctuary and the wider immigration system

Do you want to be part of making positive change? If you have direct lived experience of the asylum and immigration system in the UK, we want to hear from you! 

We are One Strong Voice, a collective of dynamic individuals and organisations based in the United Kingdom with “direct lived experience” of the UK immigration and asylum system.

  • Our mission is to highlight, tackle, and change policies made by the UK immigration and asylum system that affect us in negative ways.
  • We have already started engaging with the Home Office about the effects of COVID-19 on the asylum, refugee and migrant populations.
  • We are determined to build an aspiring movement. To do this we are planning a convening event in December 2020.
