A new film has been developed through a partnership with Exeter University and Asylum Aid, that aims to inform people seeking sanctuary about their appeal process at the First-tier Tribunal.

Research has demonstrated how difficult it is to understand this process, how variable the information people receive, and that people get very anxious about their appeals.

They have produced an animation Your asylum appeal hearing: information to help you to let asylum appellants know what to expect. It is intended to make sanctuary seekers feel more confident and better able to get involved in the appeals process. Read more the research in their press release
