Nominations Open for the Women on the Move Awards 2019

Migrants Organise and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, will host the eighth annual Women on the Move Awards at the WoW – Women of the World festival on 8th March 2019. These awards recognise the contributions of migrant and refugee women who are smashing stereotypes, breaking boundaries, and connecting communities.

Nominations are now open for the four award categories: Woman of the Year, Young Woman of the Year, Champion of the Year, and the Sue Lloyd-Roberts Media Award. Please nominate migrant and refugee women, the people who champion them, and the journalists who tell their stories, who deserve recognition.
