The Football Association (FA) are spearheading efforts to set up a Refugees and Football Network Group across England. The FA is the governing body of association football in England. The network meets quarterly to ‘learn, embed and share’ experiences of using football as a vehicle for refugee integration.

Kevin Coleman, The FA’s Equality and Diversity Manager says: “The English Football Association has recognised that there are a sizeable number of partners across the game using football as a tool for supporting integration of Refugees and its role as a power for good.

“The FA plans to strategically lead and build capacity of our network of key stakeholders and over time measure and evaluate the data we receive.”

Groups who run refugee integration projects using football are encouraged to join the network or pass information to: [email protected]
