Goal Click: Refugees Project

Goal Click is a global photography project that helps people understand each other and the world through football and amazing stories. Goal Click finds people from every country in the world, provides them with one disposable analogue camera, and the photographers tell the story of football in their country through their photos.

Goal Click has sent cameras to over 90 countries all over the world and now it is time to tell the story of refugees and asylum seekers. Football is used to bring people and communities together. Football is used to help young people integrate into new communities. The Goal Click: Refugees project will tell this story.

Goal Click is looking for football fans / coaches / players in the UK with a refugee background or currently holding refugee or asylum seeker status to take part in this project. This is an amazing opportunity for people to tell their story and gain publicity for their local football team or organisation.

How it works:

  1. Please email [email protected] if you (or someone you know) has a story to tell about football and what it means to you
  2. Goal Click will send you a camera and some top tips for taking good photographs
  3. You send the camera back to Goal Click and the photographer will be interviewed about the photos
  4. Goal Click will publish your story and the photos on its website and social media channels as well as sharing it with the wider football network
