JCWI (Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants) released a new report today calling on the Government to stop the Right to Rent scheme and abandon plans for its imminent roll-out to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The report, based on evidence gathered over the last year, illustrates how the scheme is causing discrimination against foreigners and against British citizens who don’t hold a passport, especially ethnic minorities.
