In this regular FE Colleges of Sanctuary Network Meeting we will focus on the actions FE Colleges can take to support the wellbeing and welfare of students seeking sanctuary.
In this informal, conversational online meeting, we will hear from:
- Laila Bentley and Clare Wookey from Inspire Education Group sharing the steps they have taken to foster belonging and a full sense of participation of students seeking sanctuary.
- Speakers from Leeds City College explaining how they have worked to identify and creatively overcome the threats to students’ wellbeing including childcare challenges and sharing excellent extracurricular offers.
There will then be opportunities for open discussion and the sharing of resources and advice.
