A short hour-long webinar for teachers and school staff in partnership with Refugee Education UK aimed at helping them to best welcome and support new Ukrainian arrivals in schools.
In this free online session, speakers from REUK Emily Bowerman (Head of Programmes) and Mariia Donets (Education Welcome Programme Officer) will:
- focus on educational responses to new arrivals from Ukraine, helping participants to understand the prior education and displacement contexts of students from this country;
- and share practical interventions and approaches that are directly applicable to young refugees from all backgrounds.
The session will conclude with a short Q&A.
