Event information
An information day for people with Sanctuary backgrounds (people with refugee, asylum, or forced migrant backgrounds) to explore the Higher Education opportunities and support available to them in London.
11:30 – Registration Opens
12:00-13:00 – Event starts with stalls from universities and charities
13:00-14:45 – Selection of workshops to choose from
15:00 – Event finishes
Birkbeck, University of London and the University of Sanctuary network will be hosting a Sanctuary Open Day, for refugee and forced migrant learners who are interested in continuing their education. We will be joined by Universities and Charitable organisations who will offer advise and guidance on what their institutions can do to support sanctuary learners based in London. The event will be hosted at Birkbeck’s campus in Central London.
