In the middle of a global health pandemic there has never been a more important time to discuss access to healthcare for people seeking sanctuary. This Facilitated Conversation on Thursday March 25th 11am-12.30pm is an opportunity to hear about some of the most urgent challenges including public health vaccine programmes as well as share best practices from our Health Stream such as Safe Surgeries. Hear from Doctors of the World, Hands Up for Our Health and regional champions who are driving positive change. Bring your questions and your ideas to share. Confirmed speakers include Ian T Russell who worked on the HEAR study – “Health Experiences of Asylum Seekers & Refugees” – for Public Health Wales and Swansea University, and Diana Flores Gallard, who is Chair of the Health Stream for Yorkshire & Humberside, and a person with lived experience of seeking sanctuary.
