A little about my journey: two years ago, I took the Sanctuary in Politics course with City of Sanctuary, and now, I’m proud to serve as a trustee. Working with them has been an amazing experience – I’ve advocated for a fairer asylum system, trained others to raise their voices for refugee rights, been to parliament, and even met the King.

Going through the asylum system can be really tough and isolating, but City of Sanctuary gave me a new community where my voice matters, opportunity to be have real impactful, and a renewed sense of hope in humanity.
