The Maternity Stream of Sanctuary is an exciting development which aims to improve access to maternity care for women and families seeking sanctuary.
We welcome you to attend our first Facilitated Conversation: “Overcoming the barriers in accessing maternity care”, held via Zoom.
We will be hearing from women themselves about their experiences accessing maternity care in the UK and how we can support maternity services to become environments which promote welcome and inclusion. Women seeking sanctuary have increased risks of poor outcomes during pregnancy. By engaging in conversations about improving services we can improve women’s psychological, social and physical health needs.
There will be opportunities for discussion, sharing stories, to learn more about the Maternity Stream of Sanctuary and how to get involved.
