In person and online volunteering opportunities with Stop Climate Chaos Scotland during COP26 are now live, for roles between 31st October and 14th November 2021.
The application deadline of July 30th is being extended – we will post updates here when we find out the date of the new deadline.
Over the first two weeks of November, climate leaders from around the world are coming to Glasgow for the UN climate talks. The decisions made here will impact every life on this planet, first and foremost those already on the frontlines of the climate crisis. Movements from around the world will be converging to demand climate justice be at the centre of all climate action.
The climate justice movement needs your help in Glasgow this November. The COP26 Coalition and Stop Climate Chaos Scotland are inviting you to be part of a team of volunteers supporting their work at the People’s Summit, Mass Mobilisation and Civil Society Hubs in Glasgow and online. They have a variety of roles and shifts available:
- build and break
- welcome volunteer
- march steward
- tech support
- welfare
- virtual summit support
